2D and 3D shapes

Today in math we sorted food by looking at its shape and figuring out if it is 2D or 3D. We kept a log of our food by drawing it in the correct column. After sorting we got to eat all the yummy treats. Here are some pictures of us during math.

100th Day of School

We already started collecting cans as a class before the Christmas break, but we need more! Our goal is for each classroom to get 100 cans or more by February 4th (the 100th day of school). Help us reach our goal and start sending those cans in.

Welcome Back and Happy New Year!

Welcome back, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Break and a Happy New Year!

Over break I went home down south for a week to spend Christmas with my family. Christmas is my favorite time of the year because I get to see all my Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Christmas Eve we always spend with my dad's side of the family and Christmas day we spend with my mom's side of the family. Its always fun getting the whole family together even though it gets a bit crazy with so many people :) .

The day after Christmas my mom, my two sisters and I went down to Boynton Beach so I could try on wedding dresses...and I FOUND ONE!!!! It was so much fun the three of us together laughing and crying at the bridal store. I am completely in love with my dress and still can't believe I will be getting married in October!

This year is going to be the most exciting year for me. My sister is having her first baby, my best friend since PreK is getting married, both my parents are celebrating their 60th birthdays and a 40th wedding anniversary, I will be traveling to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with my family over the summer, Hawaii for my honeymoon and lastly I am getting married to my best friend in October after 11 years of dating!! I think 2013 is my year :)
